• Finished research for intensive research. Produced summaries for the two ideas that i am not carrying on with and highlighted what i thought worked well i.e. questionnaires and i said what the reasons were for doing and not doing the different ideas. I think my questionnaires worked well because i used questions with scales and boxes to tick to make it easier for the person filling in the questionnaire. It also means they will be more willing to do it as it doesnt take a large amount of effort or writing.
• Started to produce a proposal, and researched my audience for inside out. I found it difficult to research the audience profile of inside out, however i know that it is a regional current affairs programme. This means the audience will be similar to that of 'Yorkshire evening post' because people who are interested in what is going on around them will read this newspaper.

• Finished off research for the three ideas but i need to reflect on them more and add a summary to the information. I also need to add a summary for the two ideas and say why i did not continue with them
• Started to research in full my final idea and produced a gantt chart. It took me a while to work out the dates though and i have to add 'uploading' footage.

• Planned into more detail the content of my actual documentary - some more rough ideas so now i know exactly what i have to research for it as i think my research before was a bit too broad, i have now narrowed it down.

• developed my research into similar programmes. watched the copy of great global warming swindle that Mr. Lacey gave me. Also researched more into the effects and the facts of global warming to get a background idea and to help me.

• replied to the e mail i received from the press office of 'the reporter' magazine where i read about the new iniciatives been taken at leeds university to help the environment, e.g. solar panels. Have asked about intervies and footage, waiting for reply.

Basic researched included examples of existing programmes on similar topics.

Pitched the three ideas and produced handouts for the executive producers Mr Horner and Mrs Symons. I think the pitch was successful and i got my points accross well and i just need to flesh the ideas out more thoroughly.
